The IRS recently announced a new feature available for TY2022 e-Filed 1040-X Amended Returns that now allows you to choose direct deposit to speed up refunds for your clients.

Note: You must be at the latest Federal 1040 Program software version .016 to access this new feature.

• Where’s My Amended Return? | Español: Check the status of your Form 1040-X, Amended U.S. Individual Income Tax Return, for this year and up to three prior years.
