Thank you to our many partners who have already installed the 2022 software, completed their office setup-up and enrollment at EMP and if offering financial products to clients, completed compliance testing, received approval from their selected banking partner and ordered supplies!
If you have not yet started or completed your office setup and enrollment at EMP, we are sharing another important reminder to complete this process now!
All partners must complete their office setup process at EMP in order to transmit ANY tax returns (including prior years).
Pre-ACK Products become available on January 2nd. If you are also offering financial products to your clients, you must first complete your enrollment at EMP and secure approval from your selected banking partner in order to participate in this popular offering.

Note: For our returning partners, information is carried forward from the previous year and in most cases, simply requires a careful review.
Important Note to our Service Bureau Partners: Please ensure your sub-sites are aware of this important information. Remember, enrollment for your sub-sites cannot be completed until you first activate your Main Site at EMP and then activate the Sub-sites you’ll be working with for this upcoming tax season.
By taking steps now to complete your office setup and enrollment (and compliance testing with your selected banking partner), you’ll be doing your part to ensure you’re ready to serve your clients ahead of the competition.

Repeat Reminders from the IRS: If you have applied for and/or require a new EFIN for this upcoming season, we previously shared this Quick Alert from the IRSto expect a delay with their EFIN application processing. Also, be sure to renew your PTIN, they expire on December 31, 2021.
